Pluto, the god of death, is once again proving that is not to be ignored for when this planet acts, like its mythological counterpart- everything will change. As stated in my 2009 entries transiting Pluto will oppose USA's Venus several times until 2010. In my book Astro-time 2010, I noted that October will be very significant for gold due to this factor. In a nation's chart Venus is connected with it's currencies and even economic well-being. Pluto's action is destructive and we see the USD loose it's value continuosly since Pluto opposes USA's Venus from March 2009 till now when this planetary aspect takes place for the last time.
USD and gold have an inverse relationship hence we see gold hitting new all-time highs this month.
But even if Pluto's opposition is now exact and it will leave the aspect soon, USD is not out of the woods yet. In the short-term, there can be a rebound for the dollar now as the technical picture looks ripe for such bounce. But long-term, another outer planet is about to move into square aspect to USA's Venus. While Pluto's effect is slow but sure, there is no turning back for the dollar- if Pluto will have it's way the effect of Uranus is different. Uranus' is drastic, sharp and wild. Action will begin when Uranus goes back to Aries, in the mean time wait for a better buying opportunity for gold.
